Applying For Properties To Rent

When applicants apply to rent properties through C J Management we ask the applicants to fill in an application form from another company named ‘Rent for Sure.’ This information is then forwarded on to ‘Rent for Sure’ who then carry out all of the necessary checks on the applicant in question.  The form asks for personal information on the applicant to enable them to carry out all checks required.  The applicant is also asked to provide other personal information in compliance with the Right to Rent Act by way of photographic identification or anything by way of evidence supporting their ‘right to rent’ and also other information such as bank statements and wage slips to check the applicants are able to afford the property.

Booking In Maintenance For Properties

There will be times where C J Management will need to share personal information from tenants and landlords with other organisations for maintenance purposes to enable the said works to be done as soon as possible.  We would let the tradesmen know about the maintenance issues outstanding and share your name and contact details with them to enable them to contact you directly to make appointments to get the works fixed.

Eviction Of Tenants

There will be times where C J Management will need to share personal information from tenants and landlords with other organisations for eviction purposes to enable the eviction to take place.

Utility Readings For Properties When Tenants Move In And Out

There will be times where C J Management will need to share personal information from tenants and landlords with other organisations for utility bill purposes to enable the bills to get issued correctly and to the correct person.  We are not always able to locate the name of the company providing the source to the property so this could be any utility provider existing in the UK.

CJ Management uses two different database providers that store all of the personal information for tenants, landlords and tradesman on file.  We also compile our own database of personal information (as stated in ‘The type of data we collect’ section above) on our tenant’s, landlords and tradesmen and other professionals
